Hello, my name is Michael Szymanski and after recently completing the CEO Financial Intelligence Program in November of 2025 I wanted to share my experience with you all. After seeing Oana’s posts on LinkedIn I followed her and subscribed to the Finance Gem which provided consistent and valuable finance knowledge and tools that really caught my attention. This led me to want more so I signed up for the CEO Financial Intelligence Program as well! First, Oana is an exceptional speaker, enjoyable to listen to and eager to share her extensive knowledge of commercial banking, equity transactions, financial reporting, as well as creative and uniquely valuable financial analysis tools and concepts unlike anything I have seen in my entire career. The content is interesting, immediately useful and provides finance support, tools and tips you will not find anywhere else. During our careers many of us have had decades of experience with many enterprise ERP systems and various BI and Finance integrations that “get us close” but never seem to provide the tactical and strategic enterprise financial intelligence required to see the actual levers that move enterprise value and liquidity and what is required to improve and optimize enterprise performance toward stakeholder goals. Many owners use information such as EBITDA and other legacy financial reports to run the business with incomplete and backward looking historical information with poor or worse results. Excel models while somewhat useful become outdated, contain errors and are difficult and expensive to pay someone to maintain and if one person leaves you start over so there is no reliability. We’ve always known that legacy ERP’s provide the typical month end financials and help to prepare annual audits to paint a pretty picture of what happened in the past. What we really need is a tool that would combine HISTORICAL financial intelligence in REAL TIME with FUTURE financial intelligence and FORECAST Scenarios to provide critical insight for management and stakeholders to see that we are making the best possible decisions for the FUTURE based on all available information at the time to make the most positive impact on FUTURE Enterprise Value and Liquidity and to minimize risk or covenant breach. I think this course is necessary for all finance professionals. I work as a CFO but I found it very eye opening and educational to think about cash flow more often and in more ways. We do cash flow planning for the year in my company, but it's not analyzed as she teaches in the course. We also don't do cash flow planning for more that 1 year and we don't really analyze it much. Great curse, good mix of tactical and strategical topics to take back and implement in my work. Really liked the many new ideas I got in this course, definitely recommend.

This is a very good course with coverage of cash flow from multiple perspectives. I applied with purchase parity and I was really happy to learn from this. The Excel models are excellent, and the videos explain lessons clearly. I needed help to learn to understand cash flow and to build a cash flow statement. This course teaches also management of cash flow ratios, mistakes and how to plan and improve cash flow. I definitely recommend this course.
